When can we substitute HY 100 for HY 200 V3?
As I understood it, HY 200 V3 works best for certain load-bearing applications and ones that require certain approvals, while HY 100 is for non-load-bearing applications such as handrails. What are other example applications of each? What criteria must be considered when switching the latter to the former?

Hi Eemaan,
HIT-HY 200 V3 is Hilti's ultimate fast curing adhesive anchor. It has more testing and approvals as compared to the premium HIT-HY 100 adhesive anchor.
For anchor product selection help, please see Hilti’s Anchor Product Technical Guide from Hilti's website. Below are quick links to sections of the Tech Guide:
- Anchor Selection Chart on pages 4-7 - a helpful comparison of Hilti's anchors

Ultimately, all design decisions are at the discretion of the Engineer of Record (EOR) on the project.
