Hilti is unable to perform anchor capacity calculations for project specific applications; however, for design help, engineers typically Hilti’s PROFIS Engineering Suite software to perform calculations based on the specific conditions of the project. The PROFIS Engineering Suite software can be used to calculate the capacity of an anchor system based off the proposed layout designed by the engineer. Access to the software can be found here: www.profisengineering.hilti.com.

For additional information on the various modules/methods, Hilti provides several on-demand Ask Hilti webinars on topics such as base plate design, anchoring to masonry, and anchoring to concrete-over-metal deck.

• Specific calculations for your project can be found in the report for your design. The report includes equations, variables, and calculations for tension and shear capacities and utilizations.
