Doing medium-intensity applications like drilling with our compact SDS Max TE 50-22 rotary hammer or cutting with SC 30WL-22circular saw? Need a lot of battery swaps? Combine a flash charging B 22-260 battery with our C 8D/DC-22 Dual Bay Flash charger when you use boost mode. That’s up to 50% faster than charging a B 22-255 on a single-bay C8 charger.

* *Based on testing with:
* Charging time for C 8D/DC-22 Dual Bay Flash Charger in Boost Mode. Boost Mode is automatically activated when only one B 22-260 or B 22-290 battery is placed on either bay of the C 8D/DC-22 Dual Bay Flash charger. All other Nuron batteries can be charged on the C 8D/DC-22 Dual Bay Flash Charger (excludes CPC), but do not benefit from Boost Mode. Results may vary depending on ambient conditions and the tool being used and/or application being performed.
Integrated connectivity
The Nuron platform connects smart batteries with tools and chargers. Download the ON!Track app to access usage data that helps keep you working and make sure you have tools and equipment you really need.

Find what's missing
Get easy access to information on the last-known location of misplaced tools and equipment.

Cut hidden costs
Don't buy what you already have. Identify idle, underused or hoarded equipment and get it out to where it's needed
Better charging. Your way.

Build your own multi bay charger
Already have Hilti single bays? Want to build your own multi-bay? Mount either four C 4-22, three C 6-22, or two C 8-22 chargers without additional tools on the Charging Dock CI D 4-22 and charge in parallel.

Bulk charging of up to 48 batteries
Combine the Charging Dock CI D 4-22 and our Smart power bar CI SPB 12 to charge up to 48 batteries on one 15A circuit. Priority ports mean you can charge the batteries you need most first. Intelligent power distribution helps reduce the risk of tripped breakers and blown fuses.

FAQs
All Nuron batteries are compatible with all Nuron chargers. However, for optimal charging time or to best fit the way you work, we recommend the following charger and battery combinations:

Light-duty applications
For lighter duty applications where charging speed is less important, combine our smaller Nuron batteries and compact C 4-22

Medium-duty applications
For medium-duty applications, where charging speed is important combine our mid-sized Nuron batteries with our C8 chargers.

Heavy-duty applications
For heavy-duty and high-intensity applications combine our B 22-260 Flash Charging battery and B 22-290 battery with our C8 DC-22 dual-bay charger.
Your Nuron batteries will charge faster if you pair them with the right charger. See the information above on which batteries should be used with which chargers.
Pair your tool with the right Nuron battery to get the right balance weight, power and work-per-charge you need for your jobsite task
When you're not using your batteries, avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold, or direct sunlight. Remove them from chargers and keep them clean.
Use the built-in battery state of health check to check battery status and swap out your batteries when needed. To check the battery's state of health, press the release button of the battery and hold it down for longer than three seconds. Note that the system does not detect a potential malfunction of the battery due to misuse, for example battery dropped or pierced, external heat damage, etc.
Hilti C 8D/DC-22 Dual Bay Flash Chargers are designed to charge two batteries in parallel as fast as our single-bay C8 chargers. When only one battery is placed on either bay of the C 8D/DC-22 Flash Charger, Boost Mode* is automatically activated. With Boost Mode, batteries can be charged up to twice as fast. If you are making frequent battery swaps, use the B 22-260 with the C 8D/DC-22 Dual Bay Flash Charger in Boost Mode to flash charge ** after serial medium-duty applications. If you prefer extra reach and are not making frequent battery swaps, use the B 22-290 with the C 8D/DC-22 Dual Bay Flash Charger in Boost Mode to flash charge** after serial medium-duty applications. * Applicable only to B 22-260 and B 22-290 batteries up to 80% state of charge. ** Charging times refer to reaching 80% state of charge. Charging times may vary depending on ambient conditions and the nature of the application.
No, with Nuron, Hilti offers one 22V platform. All Nuron batteries can be charged with any Nuron charger. But to get the best charging times, we recommend using the battery–charger selector above.
No, the connectivity use cases are available only if a charger is taken by a customer as part of the Fleet Management program.
We recommend plugging in the charger into a stable power supply. However, the charger is designed to operate within a range of voltages. Charging times do not usually vary. If there are voltage surges or drops, safety features would be activated.
Yes, there could be an increase in charging times in extreme hot and cold ambient conditions or depending on battery temperature.
Storage and handling
Storage temperature to be kept of between -4ºF and 104ºF
Never store batteries where they are exposed to direct sunlight, on heat sources or behind glass.
Only charge batteries that are free of mechanical damage.
Avoid leaving batteries mounted on chargers for extended periods of time. As best practice, disconnect chargers and remove batteries once charging is complete — particularly for storage and transport.
Do not recharge batteries when they are very hot.
Never transport batteries in bulk form.
Safety
Ambient operating temperature to be kept between 1°F to 140°F
Inspect battery packs regularly.
Use the built-in state of health check of your Nuron batteries to ensure they are fully productive.
Treat batteries with care in order to avoid damage.
Never use the battery as a hammer.
Keep batteries away from rain, moisture and liquids.
Keep batteries clean – remove dust and debris with a dry soft brush or a dry rag.
To store a damaged battery, place the battery in a non-flammable container and cover the battery with dry sand, chalk powder (CaCO3) or silicate (Vermiculite).
Dispose of the container at your Hilti Store or consult your local governmental garbage disposal or public health and safety resources for disposal instructions.
In case of a battery fire: Scoop the battery up with a shovel and drop it into a bucket of water. Leave the battery in the bucket for at least 24 hours.
Battery state of health refers to the remaining life of lithium-ion battery packs. All lithium-ion batteries lose capacity and performance as they age – whether it's tool batteries or laptop and mobile phone batteries. With the Nuron platform, the state of health function gives you guidance on when a battery pack should be replaced. This helps you make sure you are always working with the most productive tools possible. Note that the system does not detect a potential malfunction of the battery due to misuse, for example battery dropped or pierced, external heat damage, etc.
Nuron batteries contain high-quality lithium-ion cells that are designed to deliver high performance and long life. Individual battery life depends on factors such as what sort of tool is being used, user force, frequency of use, and ambient temperature, among others.
