Building upon Façade 101, An Overview of Façade Design for Architects, Façade 201 dives deeper into façade design for achieving high performing perimeter joints and fire protection between fire-rated floor assemblies and non-rated exterior curtain walls. Through this course, you will gain insight into the effects of fire on common façade construction elements, understand the current test standards, and review the performance of common fire protection solutions for perimeter fire protection applications. This course will also analyze challenging façade applications which require specific design and installation attention and methods to help prevent fire passage at perimeter joints.
