Modern roof deck connection design can include calculations and optimization beyond referencing a manufacturer’s shear tables. After a brief overview of deck diaphragm connection types, this course will dive into the model codes and required steps of roof deck diaphragm design. A series of design examples are included using a variety of design resources.
