What is the reason why I cannot specify a larger diameter anchor rod for a drill and epoxy application

I am designing anchorage for a base plate, and I want to provide a drill and epoxy option for the
anchors. The Hilti software is not providing an anchor diameter greater than 3/4" in the drop down. Is this something that can be overwritten in the software?

Hi Don,

After reviewing your PROFIS Engineering file, the anchor that you have selected is the HIT-HY 200 V3 with the HIT-Z rod. The largest diameter available for a HIT-Z rod is 3/4" which is why this is the largest diameter available. This can be seen in Table 1 on page 35 of Hilti's Anchor Fastening Product Technical Guide.

If you would like to select a larger diameter, you will need to switch the anchoring system to HIT-HY 200 V3 with a HAS Rod. This can be down within the anchoring tab in PROFIS Engineering.

Regards,
Ashley
