For information on Hilti’s direct fasteners, the best reference would be the Direct Fastener Technical Supplement. This outlines Hilti’s most popular direct fasteners along with their suitable base materials from the Direct Fastening Technical Guide. For fastening into steel, Table 5 and Table 6 would be applicable. Notably, per the Material Specifications, the vast majority have a level of zinc coating in accordance with ASTM B 633, SC 1, Type III.
