ESR-3814 specifies minimum center-center spacing for 16mm HIS-N anchors as 5"
The electron microscope that we are trying to anchor has anchor hole spacing of 2-3/8"
The microscope vendor is specifying the HIS-N anchors. Can this be installed with a reduced allowable load?

Hi Tony,

Load adjustment factor tables for Hilti’s HIT-RE 500 V3 adhesive and the HIS-N internally threaded insert can be found on page 138 of the Anchor Product Technical Guide. The decision to install the HIS-N anchor bolts at a spacing smaller than what is published is ultimately at the discretion of the Engineer of Record on the project.

If you have any further questions, please reach out to hnatechnicalservices@hilti.com.

Best,
Mia
