Hello! I have a 16" x 22" opening in an 1-HR rated gypsum wall assembly with six 4" steel conduits penetrating through it. The closest UL design I found in the Hilti design library was for an assembly of 3" steel conduits. (UL/cUL SYSTEM NO. W-L-8065 MULTIPLE PENETRATING ITEMS THROUGH GYPSUM WALL ASSEMBLY). Is this design able to be modified for 4" conduit? Would the 3.5" mineral wool packing with FS-ONE still meet the UL rating? If not, is there another design that would meet this situation using FS-ONE max or CFS-SP?

For the opening size and multiple 4" Steel Conduit using mineral wool and sealant in a gypsum wall assembly like this there is currently not a listed system but we can address your application through an Engineering Judgment, which will be a custom detail showing your exact application with the firestop components required to maintain the stated ratings.
