Hello, I need to do a field fix and need to use hilti hy 200 with rebar. Can I check this in Hilti profis? I don't see a rebar option, if I use HAS is that the same as rebar?
I need to provide full development for a #5 bar, what embedment depth would that require? what is the minimum edge distance, we have 3" only and it seems that is ok with 5/8" HAS, but not enough for 5/8" HIT-Z or HIS-N, so I want to make sure it is ok for rebar.
Also, could you please provide the manual for HILTI HY 200 and rebar?

Yes, HIT-HY 200 V3 can be used with rebar. There are two different modules in PROFIS Engineering that you can use HIT-HY 200 V3 with rebar. We have the anchoring to concrete module and the concrete-to-concrete (C2C) module. If you are trying to develop the bar, you will want to utilize the C2C module. The minimum edge distance is going to vary depending on if you are designing under anchor theory (ACI 318 Chapter 17) or rebar development theory (ACI 318 Chapter 25).
