The HDG option for the HAS-V rods with HILTI HY 270 is not available in the PROFIS design software. Upon checking the technical data of the HAS-V rods, it contains a table of allowable capacities paired with adhesives, where HILTI HY-270 is included (see snapshot attached). On the other hand, HILTI Product Technical Guides shows that the HILTI-HY270 is not applicable with HDG conditions (See snapshot attached). With this, please verify if HAS-V HDG rods can be used with HILTI-HY 270 adhesive.

Thank you for reaching out. Both the Masonry Technical Guide (Steel Design Appendix, page 62) and ESR-4143 (Section 5.15) discuss the permitted use of HIT-HY 270 with HDG rods.
We have informed our software team of the exclusion of HDG rods in the masonry module. In PROFIS, the current workaround would be to design in the masonry module using the carbon steel rods, as both finishes are ASTM F1554 compliant and have the same steel properties.
