I am currently unable to change the CMU block size for the design of anchorage to masonry. I know that this previously was not an option and that an 8X8X16 block was the only choice. I was recently told by several colleagues that it had been changed and that it is now an option to customize the block size, however this still does not show up for me. I was hoping to get clarification on this update if this capability has been added, and if so why it has not shown up on my end.

There is still no option to change the CMU block size unfortunately. The 8x8x16 nominal block is the only size that has been tested currently. Evaluating a smaller nominal CMU block size will require engineering judgment and Hilti would recommend onsite testing.
