Are the mineral wool (Item 3) and Hilti CP 777 speed plugs (Item 4) interchangeable in this system? I interpret Note 3 telling me it is one or the other.
Are the speed plugs for if the metal deck is directly resting on the CMU block wall and mineral wool would be if there is a gap between the two? Or is the intention to use both materials?

Based on Note 3, the mineral wool (item 3) and the Hilti CP 777 Speed Plugs (item 4) are interchangeable within the flutes in this system and may be used as alternate fill materials. The system only requires one or the other, not both.
