Hello Jason and thank you for utilizing ASK Hilti! Typically tube steel members are better utilized for column design and not as efficient as an open profile member (such an I-Beam). At this time there is not a listing for a hollow section tube member to be used as a beam however, from a steel protection perspective, the tube steel member thickness will be determined through the use of a column design. This will mean that the intumescent thickness will be calculated for a four sided fire exposure and not a three sided fire exposure.
