I am looking for a UL Assembly for an abandoned core drill through a 1-hour fire-rated second floor structure. Per the record drawings, the existing second floor structure is: 4" (uniform thickness) light-weight concrete slab on 1-1/2" x 20ga composite steel deck (vulcraft type 1.5 VL120) with phosphatized top and painted bottom. Reinforce slab with 6x6-W1.4xW1.4 W.W.F. There is 1-hour spray-applied fireproofing on the second floor structure.

We have several systems designed for blank openings through concrete floors; however, the large majority of theses systems will require a minimum 4-1/2" thickness of concrete (measured above flutes). As such, we can address your application through an Engineering Judgment which will be a custom detail showing your exact application with the firestop components required to maintain the stated ratings.
