TZ2's installed in top of slab over metal deck
PROFIS and the TZ2 technical guide specify up to 1/2" TZ2's can be installed in the top of slab over metal deck. Why the limitation set at 1/2" anchors? If the slab thickness is enough, can we install 5/8" TZ2's in the top of slab over metal deck?

Hi Tom,
The use of a 5/8" diameter KB-TZ2 into the top of concrete over metal deck is outside the scope of Hilti's testing. The engineer of record for the project could use engineering judgement and/or on-site testing to account for variability in performance.
