TSE: Sustained loads
Why the sustained load is considered only in chapter 17 (17.3.1.2) of ACI318-14, but not consider in chapter 25.
If we design the embedment depth of rebar with formula from chapter 25, we should consider the sustained load or not? And how?

Please reference Hilti’s Post-Installed Reinforcing Bar Guide for information about sustained loading. Section 7.1 addresses the topic for post-installed reinforcing bar applications. Additional information about chapter 25 provisions begin on page 8 of the guide.
