Stop automatic save

Is there a way to stop cloud files from automatically saving with every change made? It is extremely frustrating to be testing different designs in the same file because it saves every change you do in real time. Or if you open and old file that is no longer supported by hilti, it automatically defaults to something and wipes you entire file, but because of the this automatic save you cannot even retrieve the old file since it's been saved over.

Hi Belinda,

Currently, there is not a way to stop cloud files from automatically saving in PROFIS Engineering. However, there is a duplicate file function on the right side of the software. This can be utilized when changing design variables to make a comparison while maintaining the original design for reference.

I know of the duplicate feature but Hilti should consider implementing a toggle feature for the real time saving. In the previous standalone desktop versions it was very easy to try different designs inside the same module and comparing the different options without having your project saved over every time. If I just want to quickly tweak my design and see if it works. I have to exit, duplicate and then change it, it's quite cumbersome. Also god forbid I FORGET to duplicate it, then my entire original design is wiped. That is horrible for productivity.
