The AHJ is asking for verification of UL 415 assembly maintained with a steel I beam penetration thru the shaft wall and HSS 6x6x1/2 penetrating on the shaft board side of a shaft wall assembly. We intended to use the CP 606 at the gap between the steel and the shaft board and GWB Type X

We are not going to have a listed system that specifically fits this exact application. I recommend going ahead and submitting for an engineering judgement, so we can design you a custom solution. Depending on the annular space you have, we can potentially firestop this with just CP 606. I have attached instructions below on how to do so below.
