Steel floor deck protection question

Steel floor deck protection question

We have a project where the basement-to-first-floor above interface needs to achieve a 2-hour fire ratings. The floor assembly is a 2" steel deck with 3" concrete topping, supported by wide flange beams bearing on concrete foundation walls. We received a product submittal for using Hilti Fire Finish 120+ CFP-SP Steel protection spray to protect the supporting steel. Can this product also be used for the underside of the steel floor deck to achieve 2-hour fire protection?
Thank you in advance.

Hello Hilti Fire Finish 120+ is not designed to be installed to provide a rating to the floor / metal deck. Hilti IFRM is only designed to provide a rating to structural steel IE HSS or W beams. Hilti has a system that can be used to protect the beam underneath of the floor, however this will only provide a rating to the beam and not to the floor. I have attached the system here.

Thank you,
