Stainless Steel Anchors On Concrete Topped Metal Deck Hilti Profis
The Hilti Profis software does not provide a Stainless Steel Option for KB-TZ2 for the concrete topped metal deck module and only offers analysis for carbon steel anchors. Is there any resource that shows that stainless steel anchors will work even though the software output is for carbon steel. The carbon steel and stainless steel anchors have similar values in the evaluation report with the stainless steel being slightly lower.

Unfortunately, the stainless-steel KB-TZ2's do not have supportive testing for concrete over metal deck. The data provided on page 310 of the Anchor Fastening Technical Guide may serve as a helpful reference when evaluating your design, but it will ultimately fall to engineering judgment on how to best proceed.
