SS rebar with your Safeset system
Can stainless steel Rebar with Hilti HIT-RE 500 V3 SafeSet System be used? Please provide recommendation for this?

Hi Bogdan,
Hilti does not have any testing with stainless steel rebar. See ESR-3814 for HIT-RE 500 V3, Table 3 on page 11 for rebar specifications. Ultimately, all design decisions including anchor element selection is up to the engineer of record. For applications that fall outside of the scope of testing, on-site testing is recommended to verify capacity.

If I understand correctly, Hilti Hit-Re 500 V3 does not have any testing with stainless steel rebar but does have testing for stainless steel rod (All-thread) as shown on table 2 page 11. Bogdan
