Sloped Steel Beam over 2 hr fire rated CMU wall. Can it be fireproofed without offsetting the wall from the beam?

-2 hr rated non load bearing cmu wall, in line with a steel beam above that supports a composite metal deck above.
Is it possible to fire proof this hybrid wall condition? Can the beam be boxed out to meet the wall below? Is there some type of fireproofing that can close the gap between cmu and steel?
Restrictions in space and clearances don't allow for an offset of the CMU from the beam. We would like to keep them in line if there is a possible solution. - Thank you

Hello,

I have attached our firestop system that most closely matches your condition (HWD-0440). The system allows for fireproofing (not Hilti fireproofing) installed on the beam and then prescribes firestopping products (Hilti firestopping products) for the joint between the steel member and the wall assembly.

If you are looking for an intumescent fireproofing solution (IFRM) we can provide you with an engineering judgement detail for the condition that will look very similar to the attached detail, but call out for Hilti fireproofing materials instead. If you are interested in this solution, please send an email over to USSPEng@hilti.com (our email for steel protection services). Please include an architectural detail of the condition, the project & contractor for the job, and the standard size of the steel members.

Thank you,
Alex Hernandez
