I am looking for a detail solution to add a shower niche within a 2x6 1 hour fire rated demising partition. How do you continue the fire rating?

Depending on the specifics of the shower niche as well as the 1 hour fire rated partition, we may have a solution that will work for you. This can be provided via an engineering judgement (EJ), or custom-made, project specific firestop detail.
