Shear Load Capacity = Zero
Hi Hilti Profis!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
I have a Hilti Profis Model for Anchorage Design wherein the software does not consider the steel shear capacity of the anchor rods, thus displaying "infinity" symbol in the UC ratio. What would prompt the software to do this?

Hi Michael,
The symbol shown on your design file occurs when the steel is so overutilized that the software cannot calculate a utilization percentage. Entering smaller design loads into the software may yield utilization percentages for each failure mode in tension and shear.
