Shear Connectors for concrete overlay.
What is an economical shear connector to connect a concrete overlay to the top of an existing concrete foundation.
I am currently specifying hairpin dowels anchored to the existing foundation using HIT RE-500 V3.
Is there a more economical solution?
This is a relatively large area, so there is a large number of holes to drill and install the dowels in.

If you are looking for an alternative adhesive anchoring system, you may consider using HIT-RE 100. For more information, please reference ESR-3829.
