Repair for underwater condition.

I need an epoxy to fill abandoned drill holes in a concrete wall under construction. The application is for a dive pool +80 ft deep. I would like a product that could also be used for chips and spalls as well.

Hi Stewart,

Unfortunately, Hilti does not offer a concrete repair product that can be installed in submerged conditions. Hilti's HIT-RE 500 V3 and HIT-RE 100 may be installed in such conditions but are only intended for post-installed anchoring applications.

Matthew

There will not be water in the pool at the time of installation. The final condition will be underwater and must be watertight.

Hi Stewart,

Hilti unfortunately does not offer any products specifically designed for concrete repair or sealing. Engineers in the past have considered using an adhesive anchoring system such as HIT-RE 500 V3 to fill abandoned holes, but it will ultimately fall to engineering judgement to determine whether the use of such a product is suitable for your application.

For additional assistance, please reach out to hnatechnicalservices@hilti.com or give us a call at 877-749-6337.

Regards,
Matthew
