Removing anchor installed with Epoxy

This may be a silly question but I still don't know the actual answer so it is worth asking. We had anchors installed with epoxy and realized that the footer depth was wrong. The concrete crew fixed this by chipping the footers down to the correct depth. The problem is now we have the anchors sticking out caked in epoxy so their fix didn't help. Is there anything that is made to remove the epoxy or any way to remedy cured epoxy.
