Profis Pro-Online seems to have an incorrect calculation

Avc for Concrete Edge failure direction seems to be calculating for a single anchor instead of for the group. Result is a severely over stressed condition for the group and for combined tension and shear. Single anchor capacity is fine when checked.

Hi Jon,

Information on how Avc is calculated within PROFIS Engineering starts on page 163 of the PROFIS Engineering Design Guide. For further assistance, please contact hnatechnicalservices@hilti.com.

Cheers,

What the program is injecting into the calculation per what I submitted is the single anchor calculation (Avc,s), not the group anchor calculation (Avc,g). This is blowing up the calculation for the group action as it has the incorrect Avc for that calculation. The last paragraph in page 163 states that there is a different calculation for Avc for group action. That is what is required, but not supplied currently in the software.
