Profis not working in Chrome

Hi,
I'm trying to open profis with Chrome but I'm getting an error. See attached Photo

Hi Jonathan,

Here are some options to try to access PROFIS Engineering:

  • Paste the following URL into your search bar of your web browser (do not use a previously saved link): https://profisengineering.hilti.com/  
  • Clear the cache on the browser
  • Logout of the program completely and sign back in 
    • Select the three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner then select logout 
    • Do not only exit out of the webpage
  • Use an alternative browser


It may be due to your internet speed. A timeout error occurs when it takes more than 30 seconds for the application to get a response from the server. We would recommend a minimum connection speed of 128kB/s (1 Mbps). This is the recommended speed for a single user of the network while working with PROFIS Engineering, sharing a connection between multiple users or applications will decrease speed. For Google Chrome, when speed is limited below 50kB/s this issue appears most of the time, while with a limit of 75kB/s or above we almost never see this error (PROFIS Engineering will be very slow but still working).
