Here are some options to try to access PROFIS Engineering:
- Paste the following URL into your search bar of your web browser (do not use a previously saved link): https://profisengineering.hilti.com/
- Clear the cache on the browser
- Logout of the program completely and sign back in
- Select the three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner then select logout
- Do not only exit out of the webpage
- Use an alternative browser
It may be due to your internet speed. A timeout error occurs when it takes more than 30 seconds for the application to get a response from the server. We would recommend a minimum connection speed of 128kB/s (1 Mbps). This is the recommended speed for a single user of the network while working with PROFIS Engineering, sharing a connection between multiple users or applications will decrease speed. For Google Chrome, when speed is limited below 50kB/s this issue appears most of the time, while with a limit of 75kB/s or above we almost never see this error (PROFIS Engineering will be very slow but still working).
