PROFIS - KB3 HDG Missing
I was trying to use PROFIS to check a design using KB3 HDG
bolts but they are not an option in the program. Is there a reason for this? I
saw that KB1 is replacing KB3 for carbon steel but the memo said that the bolts
have different values for certain design inputs. Please advise on the best way
to check my design using KB3 HDG.

Hi Christopher,
The HDG KB3 anchor is still available to design within PROFIS Engineering. In order to have this anchor appear as an option, please ensure that uncracked concrete is selected within the software. Since the HDG KB3 is only approved for use in uncracked concrete, the anchor will not appear as an option if cracked concrete is selected.
