post installing HIT-HY 200 V3 + 5/8 DIA HIT-Z anchors to an area with existing reinforcement

When post installing HIT-HY 200 V3 + 5/8 DIA HIT-Z anchors to a concrete column face with existing reinforcement - aside from not drilling into the existing reinforcement when installing the HIT-Z anchors, edge distances, etc

Is there any clearance that should be maintained between the existing reinforcement and the new anchor?

Hi Wendy,

Clearance distance between the anchor and the existing rebar will be up to the Engineer of Record on the project. It is important to check any specific code requirements that the project may influence the clearance distance required.
