Pipe insulation in a W-L 1001 wall
I cant find the detail of a w-l 1001 wall penetration. We have a 1 hr wall (u465) with 1/2 inch copper plumbing lines penetrating with 1/2 fiberglass insulation. Can we fire caulk around the insulation or does the fire caulk have to be around the copper since fiberglass can melt?

Under fire conditions, Hilti FS-One Max Intumescent Firestop sealant will activate and intumes through the pipe insulation effectively closing off the opening.
