I have a client that would like to paint the penetrations to designate different wiring systems what products can be field spray painted or are available in a factory paint color? i am aware the modular CFS devices are NOT able to be painted (i talked to tech support)

Thank you for contacting us at ASK Hilti! You are correct that the that the Speed Sleeves (CFS-SL GA, CFS-SL RK, and CFS-SL SK) may not be painted. The plastic housings may be painted with water-based paints and only the flange of the speed sleeve may be painted. To ensure you have the most accurate information for other Hilti firestop products, please email our team directly @ usfirestopeng@hilti.com and let us know which specific firestop product you will be using.
