Over drilling for Hilti Kwik-X
What is the tolerance for over drilling the hole depth for the Kwik-X adhesive system? If the hole is too deep, I am concerned that the adhesive is simply pushed towards the bottom of the hole without fully engaging the threads.

Hi Clayton,
To ensure that the Kwik-X system is working properly and meets the designed load capacity, a correct drilling depth is important. If the hole is drilled too deep, the adhesive of the KHC will not fill the hole properly which may result in reduced load capacity.
