Open conduit firestopping
when a conduit sleeve passes through a 1 hour smoke barrier in health care occupancy. What is the maximum distance the end of the ckbduit needs to have cp 618 putty on the end. Example: conduit ends and cable comes out 36” from wall.
does that need to be sealed where the conduit ends.

Hello!
We have a various systems like W-L-3065 that states the sleeve to protrude up to 18" beyond the wall surface but we have provided engineering judgments for sleeve protruding further than 18". We can do 36" extension with the CP 618 putty stick. If you would like an engineering judgment for that application, please log into www.hilti.com/ej to submit a request for one.
