I have a 2 hour rated CMU wall terminating into a pre-engineered metal building exterior wall.
I am stopping the CMU short of the girts and need a detail for firesafing where the two materials come together. Is there a detail that would apply?

I believe we will need to address this condition with an Engineering Judgment. You will need to send in the information for the condition to our engineering team to put together a detail for you. Please be sure to include whether the exterior wall is rated or non-rated.
