If people could refrain from answering in a way that doesn't help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Referring me to manufacturer info (undecipherable to me reaction tables) or telling me to adhere to other specs which are unfamiliar to me or unavailable to me. I am not a builder, or engineer, just a guy that ordered a metal bldg kit. Assume this is happening and try to give me the best advice, with your years of experience, that you can. Telling me, dont do it, or I'm stupid etc. isn't helpful to me. Your not on the hook, so no need to refrain from advice in fear of liability.
I am choosing not to embed the supplied anchor bolts in the foundation in order to avoid the seeming all too common issue of them being off by a 1/4 inch and causing cascading problems. Instead I plan to drill and epoxy anchor bolts, but am unsure how deep to drill for them. They will be 3/4" bolts, same as the supplied anchors in a 12" footer. I've read that when epoxying you dont want to insert them too deep, i.e not to the same depth that a placed J bolt would be.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
