Model Anchors BEAM

Best regards HILTY team.

I have a question, I appreciate if you can help me, it involves modeling in Profis engineering the anchors of a W 6x25 beam to a foundation, what happens is that the beam is supported on the foundation horizontally.

in which the PROFIS program only has models to simulate columns on foundations.

How could I simulate beams supported by foundations and be able to make the anchors?

Thanks in advance

Hi Yoel,

Since a beam with that orientation is outside the scope of PROFIS Engineering, it would be up to your engineering judgement to determine how to model a beam with a horizontal orientation within the software. There is an option for a custom beam size as well that may be a good resource to utilize. Please see the below image.
