Minimum torque for KH-EZ 3/8

Requesting minimum torque for KH-EZ 3/8" X 4" into concrete . researched and found the max torque value ( 40# but need the minimum. this is being questioned by an inspector on a school project

Hi Paul,

There is not a range of installation torque for the KH-EZ screw anchor as the installation torque value specified in ESR-3027 and the Instructions For Use in concrete is the value that should be applied. An important note, however, is that the KH-EZ screw anchor is not torque-controlled like expansions anchors. Screw anchors instead rely on keying to develop the capacity. The torque is to ensure the fastened material is properly clamped.
