Minimum anchor spacing for Kwik Bolt TZ2
Hello, I would like to specify two KB TZ2, with 1/2" diameter, effective depth of 1.5" and spaced roughly 6". Per ESR 4266 (see attachment) , the minimum allowable spacing is 12". It seems that the table might be inaccurate? 12" seems excessive. Thank you

Hi Antonio,
The values in Table 3 of ESR-4266 are accurate. The KB TZ2 is an ultimate-performance wedge anchor and in this scenario, the anchor diameter and effective minimum embedment requires larger spacing and edge distance requirements to avoid damaging the concrete during installation.
