Hello, I received a plan check with the comments that PAF, shot pins are not allowed for the shear wall track connections. Can you recommend any approved anchor options? I am considering using KH-EZ, but not sure if this is applicable over 3" concrete on a metal deck. Please advise.

Technical data for Hilti's KH-EZ screw anchor (including installation parameters) in concrete-over-metal-deck applications can be found starting on page 341 of the Anchor Fastening Technical Guide. For other anchor options suitable for concrete-over-metal-deck, please see the Anchor Selection Chart on page 6 of the guide.
Ultimately, all design decisions, including final anchor selection, are at the discretion of the Engineer of Record on the project.
