Maximum embedment for rebar on a slab that is 4-1/2 over deck and 7-1/2 total at low ribs using HY 200 and a #4 rebar
I'm trying to embed a #4 hook rebar in a slab that is 4-1/2 over deck and 7-1/2 total at low ribs using HY 200, I want to know what the max embedment I can have for this case.
what's the min clear concrete I need to maintain and how deep need to make the hole for that embedment using HY 200 adehsive

Hi Anny,
Hilti does not have any testing for HIT-HY 200 V3 for installation into concrete over metal deck. However, you could consider referencing the minimum concrete thickness requirements for HIT-HY 200 V3 with reinforcing bars that are laid out in Hilti's Anchor Fastening Product Technical Guide.
