Maximum distance for epoxy set rebar
I have a condition where a vertical bar in a masonry wall that is sitting on a spread footing was not provided. The simple solution is to provide an epoxy set rebar however, the problem is they already installed 4 course of the masonry wall. Is it possible to install a #4 epoxy set rebar into a concrete stem wall that's 32" away from the current top of masonry wall or is some other solution required?

Hi Ryan,
It may be possible to install a #4 bar into the top of grout-filled CMU into a concrete stem wall. However, it will be necessary to consider installability of the system. To discuss this application further, please reach out to hnatechnicalservices@hilti.com.
