M2Tech and PabCo Shaftliner in the same system or a matching UL
We had some left over PabCo 2 hour shaftliner assembly left over from another project and now we are being called out that it will not work with the M2Tech shaftliner that is install in the same party wall system. Both of these products meet all of the technically data for a 2 hour wall separation assembly.

Hello Thomas,
Although Hilti UL listed systems do not call out a specific wall type / manufacturer, Hilti systems do call out that wall is to be UL/cUL classified. Because of this we would recommend to look at the UL listing of the wall to confirm the types of shaft liner allowed and then work with the gypsum manufactures to ensure they work together (if allowed).
