Are you referring to PROFIS Engineering and how to input your design loads into the software? You will enter your factored load into PE using the equation of your choosing. If the entire load is sustained tension loading, you will re-enter that value into the sustained box (meaning 100% of the tension load is sustained). If only a certain amount of the factored load will be considered sustained, then you would enter that amount into the sustained box (your whole tension load will remain in the tension box).
