Does the program assume the anchors have been tested in LWC in situations for concrete over metal pan decking where anchors are placed in the topside? If so, can you confirm that lambda subscript a is equal to 1.0. If NWC is used for anchor's installed in the topside of concrete over metal decking, is there an increase in anchor capacities?

The default design code in PROFIS Engineering is ACI 318-08, and at the time when PROFIS Engineering was released, the software did not include the lightweight concrete modification factors which were laid out in the code. In order to use "Lightweight Concrete" in PROFIS Engineering, you will need to ensure that you are using ACI 318-11, ACI 318-14, or ACI 318-19 design provisions. This will then allow you to select "Lightweight Concrete", and the lambda modification factor will also be editable.
