Large cast-in bolts
In ACI318-14 section 17.3.2.2 you are allowed to use anchor rods up to 4" diameter and embedment deeper than 24". Profis does not allow to go larger than 2" and 24". Is there a way to use larger & deeper anchor rods in Profis?

Hi Grant,
Currently, the largest diameter of a heavy hex head bolt available in PROFIS Engineering is 2” and the maximum embedment is 25”. Since the use of a larger diameter and/or a deeper embedment for a cast-in place anchor is outside the scope of PROFIS Engineering, you could consider performing a hand calculation.

OK. I was able to calculate larger bolts using Simpson Strong-Tie Anchor Designer program. Thanks.
