KWIK HUS-EZ Minimum Edge Distance in CMU
The minimum edge distance for the KWIK HUS-EZ is 4" in CMU. Does this mean that these anchors cannot be used in the side wall of an 8" CMU wall since the wall is actually 7 5/8" wide? I'm looking for a post installed connection into the end of a wall and would prefer to connect directly to the end wall as other connections will become much most complicated and costly.

Hi Linda,
The minimum edge distance values for the installation of the Kwik HUS-EZ mechanical anchor into the side of a CMU wall can be found in the snippet of Table 33 below from the Anchor Fastening Technical Guide. Figure 7 from the technical guide references the different anchor locations in end of wall or wall opening applications.
