KWIK HUS EZ anchor perform better than (HY 270 Threaded Rod) anchor even with smaller diameter?

KWIK HUS EZ anchor perform better than (HY 270 Threaded Rod) anchor even with smaller diameter?

Dears,

I have 2 questions related to this:
1- I was expecting that HY 270 would perform better, given that they had better allowable values at the critical and even minimum spacing distances per the ESR tables. However, in my model a 3/4" HY 270 threaded rod wouldn't work for the given load and 5/8" with 5" embed KWIK HUS EZ on the contrary would work. It is very confusing to me how would that happen?

2- I also noticed that a 3/4" dia Kwik HUS EZ wouldn't work either (regardless of the embed length) and that the 5/8" dia Kwik HUS EZ would perform twice as better. How is that possible given that I am maintaining the minimum distances in both cases?

Based on the above observations I am hesitant to trust the Hilti PROFIS Module on this anchorage calculation? Please enlighten me if I am missing something - thank you!
